It appears COD has a vetting problem, much as K-12 school districts do. If it sounds happy, touchy, and feely it must be grand, no need to look at any details! The problem is, this often leads to giving money to some leftist NGO, or non-profit, which in turn will indoctrinate the teachers/professors you send their way.
One instance of this at COD is from their March 15, 2024, board meeting in which they approved out of state travel for two Ethnic Studies professors at the cost of $2,400 each. The travel was to Spokane–so it said in the board docs but it appears they went to Canada. The travel was to attend the yearly conference of the Western Political Science Associations (WPSA,) which is an offshoot of the American Political Science Association (APSA) in Vancouver, Canada.
The APSA recently took a lot of heat for offering scholarships to any EXCEPT white people.
One professor even presented two papers at the conference: “Struggles of Teaching January 6” and “The Dying of the Republican Party”. Considering that the J6 narrative is about to be turned completely on it’s head for the general public–those paying attention know exactly what occurred on J6 but the general public may not. Chances are the professor’s paper is full of malinformation obtained from the legacy media.
The ASPA is funded by far left foundations and pushes the usual Marxist rhetoric. Some of the workshops offered at the conference:

If we do not want our young college students indoctrinated then we need to stop enabling the indoctrination of professors.
